   Oh there’s definitely much more to talk about during weeks like these when Crankshaft may or may not appear and the strip is Funky Winkerbean Part IV.

   There was a week of strips in FW which shown Ed playing Santa for children at Montoni’s, with Funky pantomiming utter astonishment to Ed’s antics, so these two should already be well aware of each other. No stakes.

   They all better get inside soon, though. The building has vanished in panels 2 and 3. Who knows what else might go missing tomorrow.

   Hello! I’ve written three responses to other posts here today, the earliest being four hours ago.

   I didn’t wait for the new strip to rollover at midnight because I had a doctor’s followup appointment today. I had hernia surgery a few weeks ago, and when I went under anesthesia I had a pulmonary embolism and flatlined. So that’s the fourth time in my life that I could have died and didn’t. Only sharing since you seem to be concerned about my well being for some reason.

   How are you liking this week’s strips so far?

   Let’s not forget the couple of times that they put live reindeer up on the roof for Christmas decorations. They never did say when or how they were, um, “removed”.

   “And the last time she got injured, it was because she slipped on the field because it was raining and because she’s 60 years old and trying to do high school acrobatics. Funny! And during rehabilitation, she wore the helmet that Bull Bushka wore when he committed suicide by driving off a cliff! Hilarious!”

   This really happened in the strip, by the way.
