Dang Toby, you were so close! Hands have allowed humans to put their extra brainpower to use making things like airplanes, helicopters, and spacecraft. We wingless humans have flown faster and farther than any other species on Earth. We have even traveled into space. Hands are exceptionally cool!!!
Apparently these alleged scientists know so little about ants that they don’t understand that only the queen ant lays eggs, and that the only times a fertilized queen would be in the open would be after her nuptial flight when she wants to get to some soil and dig herself a place to hide while she lays her eggs.
The thing Caufield hasn’t figured out is that most people feel that the things we know are bad for us taste better than the things we’ve been told is healthy.
I can relate to Larry on this. I haven’t experienced that many flight problems, but I obsess over things going wrong and getting stranded every time I go on a flight.
I actually had to look this up and kerosene was actually used in the first stage of the Saturn 5, which would work in this setting. Robert Goddard used gasoline in his early rockets which would also work, but I’m not sure Ms. Mudd would appreciate the aroma. I’m used to thinking of liquid hydrogen, which would be less feasable.
Now I’m wondering if Apple computers are any good for hacking. I always imagine that Windows based computers are better for that sort of thing, but I’m biased.
