   I won’t say that it’s not possible that plants feel and am in favor of living things being left as natural as possible. I wouldn’t want to get into arguments about whether cutting grass is like cutting our hair and if pruning trees in winter is better. (BTW I think planting grass lawns should be avoided.) I think we can agree that we should have respect for whatever we eat and not eat too much of it. Also BTW, I live in Germany where they take this sort of thing more serious. Eggs are graded by how the Chicken are kept instead of size and “A” “AA” etc. (“grade” is assumed good enough and you have to look to see how big they are) and those little gages are not allowed at all. They do eat a lot of pigs though… and I feel bad about that.

   I’m not a vegetarian, but would point out that the wheat has died anyway (also potatoes, and most vegetables are about to). Oranges and apples… are not hurt in the harvest, nor nuts etc. etc.
